‘Friendly’ ‘Relevant’ ‘Loads of young people’ ‘Enjoyable’ and ‘Vibrant’ are words often used by visitors to describe their first experience of the Community Church. We believe that “church” is God’s house and it should be somewhere we can be ourselves and feel we belong. We want to make friends and be friends with people of all ages and backgrounds and that’s reflected in the variety of people that can be seen at the Charis Centre every Sunday and throughout the week. God is awesome in power, full of love and completely pure – and deserves a church on the earth that represents him well. So we want to build a community that displays God to society so that everyone can look at the church and get a glimpse of God. That means a church that is large and strong, caring and passionate, genuine and sincere. It’s a challenging vision that we’re working on because we’re determined to build a community for God’s glory.
